Sathya Sai Baba most likely first mentioned about Prema Sai Baba on July 6, 1963, in his famous talk about Siva-Shakti. He spoke of a mythological conversation between the god Shiva and the goddess Parvati, in which the sage Bharadwaja took part.
After the sage Bharadwaja performed the great Vedic ritual, the god Shiva said that Shiva and Parvati would take a human birth and incarnate in the family of the sage Bharadwaja three times.
- Shiva to be born as Shirdi Sai
- Shiva and Shakti would incarnate together in Puttaparthi as Sathya Sai
- Parvati to incarnate as Prema Sai Baba in Gunaparthi village
Peggy Mason and Ron Leung in their equally famous book “Sri Sathya Sai, the Incarnation of Love” tell about their personal conversation with Sathya Sai on the subject of Prema Sai. The authors asked Sathya Sai Baba whether his next birth would be as Prema Sai in the body of a woman? Sathya Sai Baba explained that no, he would be born in the body of a man, this would happen in the state of Mysore, currently Karnataka.
In the book “Glimpses of the Divine: Working with the Teachings of Sai Baba” written in 1993, author Brigitte Rodriguez said that in closer conversations with the students at his university, Sathya Sai Baba said that Prema Sai's father was a native inhabitant of Karnataka, in southern India. Sathya Sai also revealed unique information that the appearance and form of Prema Sai Baba was in an intensive process of formation, which meant that at the time of Sathya Sai Baba’s life, the appearance of Prema Sai Baba was still in the process of divine creation.
