Kriya Yoga and Physical immortality
“The soul is eternal, but the body is perishable,” everyone is familiar with this phrase, it is perceived by many as an axiom. But is it so? Many saints and most world religions convince that illness, aging, and death of the physical body are inevitable and natural. That which is born must die, which means that the physical body is doomed to death. Is the death of the physical body a fatal inevitability?
Why do people strive for physical immortality? Where did this seemingly strange fantasy of physical immortality come from? Why have all the cultures in the world created fairy tales and myths about the immortal sages?
Everything that a person can imagine already exists. Everything that a person can think of - has already happened. Each thought gives rise to events occurring in the manifested world. At the same time, any thought is a reflection of what has already happened. If the idea of physical immortality exists in human consciousness, this means that the phenomenon of physical immortality already exists, otherwise this idea simply could not appear in your consciousness.
Mahavatara Babaji was not born
In the 1990s I was lucky to be a disciple of a wonderful Indian Guru, whose name was Yogi Ramaiah. The uniqueness of Yogi Ramaiah was that he was a direct disciple of the immortal Himalayan Master, who is respectfully called Mahavatar Babaji.
Babaji was not born in this world in the usual way, he appeared from a flash of light on the sacred Mountain Kailash in Tibet in the ancient times. He lives on the Earth for many millions of years. Modern human civilization is not the first on this planet and will not be the last.
Epochs change, civilizations arise and disappear. Mahavatar Babaji is the greatest teacher of modern mankind, he has also been the mentor to people and entire cultures that existed on the Earth in the distant past. By his presence on the Earth, Babaji confirms the fact that it is possible to go the path of spiritual evolution and gain the highest level of God-realization, which includes physical immortality.
Of course, physical immortality is not the goal of the spiritual path but it is a natural consequence of absolute God-realization. The essence of the spiritual path is the knowledge of the infinite divine nature of the Soul. However, knowing the eternity of the spirit, a person also acquires a complete transformation of the matter of the physical body.
Cosmic energy is eternal
Mahavatar Babaji has developed and preaches the great system of Kriya Yoga exercises. In ancient texts, this system of practices was called differently, but in our time, the name Kriya Yoga has been assigned to this system of meditation and energy exercises. This method leads to the complete self-realization of the spirit and the transformation of physical matter into a golden immortal body. No one says that it is easy to achieve, but it is possible and there are many examples.
Diseases, aging and the death of the physical body are completely unnatural. The physical body has the potential of eternal youth. In fact, physical immortality is not something special, but a primordial and natural state. Blurred consciousness leads people to suffering, disease, aging and ultimately to death. Having fully learned the truth, people return to the Garden of Eden where people live in harmony.
Cosmic energy is eternal, it is not created and cannot be destroyed. The physical body is energy, which means that the natural state of the physical body is the immortality.
Life in the eternal body
The eternal body allows you to pass the path of spiritual evolution in the highest quality, because a person loses most of the knowledge accumulated in the past lives by each new incarnation. Each time you are born in this world, you re-learn literally everything, re-read books, learn from your own mistakes. All this happens in a circle again and again, because you do not remember most of your experiences and knowledge from the past lives. Even the greatest yogis learn each time they reincarnate in this world.
The paradox of gaining physical immortality is that the one who is attached to his body cannot become immortal, but only the one who is completely freed from attachment to the physical body acquires the experience of transforming the mortal matter of his body into the divine matter of eternal energy.
The immortal body allows you to most fully reveal your divine potentials. Only the sage who is fully aware of himself as an Eternal Spirit can transform a mortal body into a body of divine light.
